FAQ

  • What is Pitch for the future?
The Global Sustainability challenge is a team competition for high school students, gap year students, as well as college freshmen and sophomores who are passionate about making a difference and tackling real-world challenges in their community! This competition empowers young minds to become change-makers, by forming a team of 2-3 students to create a video addressing a social issue in their community they care about as well as providing solutions to this issue. The top 3 teams from each region will be invited to represent their region in the Finals. Finalists will proceed to a live pitch session and Q&A. The top 3 teams globally will be announced as the Global Winners of Pitch for the Future!
  • How much is it to register for Pitch for the Future?
Early Bird registration fee is $10 USD per student. Regular registration fee is $ 15 USD per student.
  • Should I join a team or participate as individual?
While participants are required to sign up individually for the competition, competitors must create teams of 2 to 3 students to compete in Global Sustainability Challenge. After students have registered individually, they must nominate a team leader who will then fill in a “team registration form” (which will be emailed to registered participants at a later date). This form will ask who the team members are and which category your team is competing in.
  • Who is eligible to participate?
To apply, you must be in high school, currently on a gap year, a college freshman, or a college sophomore.
  • What if my teammates have not signed up individually?
